Partnering with the Harley Davidson Foundation allowed GRG to align the project with the foundation’s mission of strengthening the community and supporting sustainable outdoor spaces. This collaboration ensured that the nature play area would be accessible and inviting, promoting physical activity and environmental stewardship. Working closely with HGA, the architectural firm that designed the broader park layout, GRG contributed expertise in designing spaces that integrate seamlessly into the natural landscape. Our team focused on creating a play area that blends natural materials like wood, stone, and plantings with interactive features, encouraging imaginative play while maintaining environmental sustainability.
GRG played a pivotal role in the design and development of the nature play area at Harley Davidson Park, working in collaboration with the Harley Davidson Foundation and HGA to bring this vision to life. The $20 million park, a gift to the city of Milwaukee, aimed to create an outdoor space that reflects both the heritage of Harley Davidson and the community’s love of nature. GRG focused on integrating natural elements to create a dynamic play environment that fosters creativity and exploration for children and families.
