Located in the heart of Chicago, a mile west of Wrigley Field, this playscape is a showcase for the outdoor nature play revolution. This K-8 day school play yard features a wooded cluster of Jack Pine and groves of Aspen trees. Sculpted play berms and large swatch of open space set the stage for a variety of built structures, rock and water features, dramatic play stations, and a full-size basketball court. Built elements include a Professional Sport Court, limestone water feature, bird’s nest swings, rope climbing structures, art and music stations and a mud kitchen. Large brick flagstone gathering spaces, an entryway pergola and native plantings finish the space.
